Fayose Is An ‘Embarrassment To Nigeria’ – Prof. Sagay Blasts Ekiti Governor Over Comments On Buhari’s Health
The Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, PACAC, Prof. Itse Sagay, has described the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose as an irresponsible clown.
Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), the Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC) has described Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State as an irresponsible clown for threatening to release recent pictures of President Muhammadu Buhari to prove he is critically ill.
TORI News had reported last week that while speaking with journalists in Abuja, the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, threatened to release 11 pictures which he said would prove to Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari’s health had deteriorated.
The chairman of PDP Governor’s forum said there was no iota of truth in the claim by Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo that the President was fast recuperating in London, and insisted that the President should resign and attend to his failing health.
“If care is not taken, I will release pictures and this will create serious problems for the country. The offices of the governors and the president are that which require work. If care is not taken, I will release about 11 pictures (on his bad health”, the governor had said.
In a swift reaction to Governor Fayose’s statement, Sagay said the Ekiti governor is embarrassing himself and his position as governor each time he speaks.
“Fayose is an irresponsible clown. Given his age and position, he is an embarrassment to this country. Each time he opens his mouth, he reduces his non-existent esteem”.
“He does have any esteem, so whenever he talks, he just reduces himself to nothingness. So, he is talking rubbish and should be ignored. I believe he has been ignored at the federal level. Let that continue,” he said.
