Lagos State Government Relaxes Statewide Curfew From 6 am – 8 pm.

The government of Lagos State has relaxed the earlier curfew that was earlier imposed in the state Friday.

According to a tweet shared by the press secretary to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Akosile, restriction of movement is now from 8pm to 6am.

 His tweet reads

”Curfew update: Curfew in Lagos State has been reviewed. Restriction time is now 8pm to 6am. Lagosians are enjoined to plan their journey times as they go about their lawful businesses. Public schools in the State still remain shut till further notice.”

Lagos state had been a subject of vandalism in the past week, as suspected hoodlums took advantage of the #Endsars protest to cart away goods from various shops and also destroy a number of public offices
