Just recently, Archaeologists have discovered a mosque built 1,200 years ago in Israel.
According to Jon Seligman and Shahar Zur, the excavation directors, the mosque, was found in the birth place of Jesus Christ and also it is said that the mosque would be a rare discovery anywhere in the world.
BBC reports that the remains, dating from the 7th or 8th century, were found in the Bedouin town of Rahat. The mosque was found in the Israeli Bedouin town of Rahat in the Negev desert.
