Media socialite, Toke Makinwa, has come out to debunk rumors swirling around on internet that her Banana Island Home has been reportedly expropriated by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON.
Moments after it was reported that her house had been taken over by AMCON, it generated lots of comments and reactions on social media as fans took to Twitter to jeer her, positing that her sugar daddy can’t afford to pay for her house maintenance anymore.
Her publicist, Andrea Manuela Giaccaglia, has taken swift action to denied the claims that Toke Makinwa’s house has not been confiscated by AMCON and she is the sole owner of her Ikoyi property. She released a statement to that effect.
The excerpts reads
“On behalf of Ms. Toke Makinwa, we would like to address the rumour circulating the internet that Ms. Toke Makinwa’s alleged house in Banana Island was taken over by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).
Ms. Toke’s is the sole owner of her residence in Ikoyi.
Our lawyers have been contacted and legal action will be taken against the originators of this story”.
