Real Madrid are set to launch a sensational bid to sign Neymar from bitter rivals Barcelona, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
The Spanish giants attempted to lure the Brazil international to Santiago Bernabeu prior to his move to Camp Nou, and are now mulling over the possibility of launching a mega offer to sign the 23-year-old.
Neymar has scored 16 goals in 17 games in all competitions so far this season, and leads La Liga’s scoring charts having fired Barcelona to the top of the standings.
According to the report, Real are ready to raise Neymar’s salary significantly, with Barca thought to be willing to offer the forward a yearly salary of €15 million (£10.5m)
